(RTTNews) - Monday, the Czech National Bank said in a report that the current account balance showed a deficit of CZK 28.97 billion in the second quarter, down from CZK 23.16 billion surplus in the first quarter.
The capital account surplus amounted to CZK 4.53 billion in the second quarter, smaller than the CZK 15.58 billion in the previous quarter.
At the same time, the financial account surplus totaled CZK 29.57 billion, up from CZK 6.18 billion deficit in the first quarter.
The current account deficit decreased to 2.6% of GDP on annual basis, the central bank said.
